While Denmark and it’s surrounds have been developed as a growing wine region in its own right, It’s important to remember that the area is rural in nature and as such you can expect some less than perfect roads.
Generally, there are only a few places around that will require a 4WD as such but you should watch out as there are a lot of gravel roads that can get very rough or have some big holes in them. This shouldn’t be seen as a cause for too much alarm, just as a note of caution. In fact we were travelling around in a 12 year old Barina without any issues at all. |
