Best for: Fishing, Swimming, Camping and Walking

The western most beach covered in this series, Peaceful Bay is a relatively well sheltered stretch of water with a very shallow drop off making it good for swimming. The rocks that shelter the beach also make for some good snorkelling and allow for good beach fishing as well.

Off the beach, there is a large caravan park allowing for both caravan and tented accommodation. There are also quite a few bush walking tracks and lookouts that offer panoramic views of the beach and its surrounds. Also, being just 15 minutes drive away from the Valley of the Giants, the camp site is often used as a base for the visitors wanting to explore the region.

A nice place with plenty to see and do. It can get busy in peak seasons though so I’d avoid school holidays if you can. |
